By clearing sectioned or whole mouse kidneys coupled with 3D imaging, researchers can gain new insights into kidney structure and function.
Mouse Kidney Evaluated Using CLARITY Tissue Clearing and 3D IHC
A normal mouse kidney was evaluated using ClearLight’s CLARITY technology. DAPI clearly identified the individual cell nuclei present within the tissue. Both alpha smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) shown in red and CD31 shown in green were used to observe possible vasculature with some signal co-localization observed in certain vessels.
