ClearLight Closes Lab Services and Offers Expert Consulting Services

ClearLight’s mission has been to empower researchers to See More Biology™ within the tissue microenvironment. We have been developing technologies to improve diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive treatment of disease so we can all live healthier lives. The company has pioneered 3D Immunohistochemistry and developed many improvements to the CLARITY protocol, taking the protocol beyond the brain tissue it was originally intended for.
The company has been developing AI-powered 3D spatial biology software that shows much promise in solving nagging quantitative problems faced by researchers. This software has much potential.
The company is at an inflection point. It is no longer financially feasible to continue the lab services operation while at the same time furthering the development of the company’s software. We simply cannot do both.
For this reason we are sad to announce that ClearLight has closed its lab services offering. ClearLight intends to support existing customers and researchers through 3D IHC expert consulting services. The company will transfer its 3D image analysis software to a new company, soon to be disclosed.
